Mapping Activity
This week, the geography and biology teaching and research groups conducted the activities of ‘the World in My Eyes’ and ‘Speaking for Plants’ respectively to guide students to get direct experience and real experience of the real world through ‘learning by doing’.
To be concrete, in ‘the World in My Eyes’ activity, students of all classes drew the map of the world with their unique creativity, who drew the map of the world in various shapes to realize their dream of traveling. Evidently, mapping can also inspire the children to see the world with a global mind.
On the other hand, in the ‘Speak for Plants’ activity, students cultivated their feelings and had fun while appreciating the beauty of nature and recognizing the diversity of living things. Therefore, such activities not only helped students form the awareness and behavioral habits of protecting biodiversity, but also enhanced their social responsibility in the meantime.
